"Indeed it’s a great moment for Akhand Jyoti Eye hospital to strengthen its Academic program. Medicine is dynamic and every day it’s new invention and innovation not only in patient care but also teaching, training and research. Recent advancements in IT sector, especially AI have given a new dimension to global health care more so in unreached and unmet areas. 
With an abundance of clinical and surgical materials and expertise AJEH provides a highly fertile ground to inculcate academic culture. Recent developments in Academics has explored some of its potential to take Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital to a higher level. To name a few quarterly CME as ‘Retina Classe’ and ‘Glaucoma and Neuro Classe’ are examples where top consultants from these two subspecialty have delivered guest lectures at AJEH and benefited both in-house and out house ophthalmologist of the state. More CMEs on cornea and eye banking Ocular trauma and Ophthalmoplasty is on anvil. This is an ongoing program to be rotated every year. Besides these a regular teaching program as for post graduate is being reviewed to cater to the PG teaching schedule. We are also working on Centre for eye health as Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital is rich in providing rural health care. 

Very recently we have been accredited to the National Board of examination and sanctioned DNB seats. While these are happening and more in pipeline we have worked hard to make our academic, research and patient care world class. I seek the support of all the faculty, administrators, public health professionals, optometrists, nurses and technicians to make the dream possible. And Dr Ajit understands that task ahead is very worthy of and in consonance with the premise that we at AJEH adhered to. 
I know with our strong commitment and dedication we will definitely reach our goal.
